I was raised in a small town in the Monterey County named Soledad. I grew up a multi sport athlete and that carried over to High School where I played football, wrestled and ran track. I then spent 2 years playing football at Hartnell College before transferring to Chico State. I am now currently a Senior majoring in Kinesiology with an option in Physical Education Teacher Education and a minor in Coaching. I will be graduating this upcoming Spring of 2019, and then I will be spending one year at Fresno State where I will earn my teaching credential. Once that is completed I will return to the Monterey County and begin to teach and coach.
My passion for living an active lifestyle led me to CrossFit in 2015 where I fell in love with its diversity, intensity and community. CrossFit presented new challenges and opportunities that helped me stretch and grow as an athlete and human being. Experiencing first hand the power of CrossFit and its ability to change lives drove me to get my CrossFit Level-1 Certification. I have high expectations for myself, so I like to hold my athletes to those standards as well. As a coach I will aim to challenge, motivate, inspire and help you the best of my ability. So whenever I am coaching, come ready to have a good time but also ready to put in some hard work!
When I am not coaching or training, I love to goon trail runs, eat, take naps and spend time with my dog Khaleesi.
Any Person at any level can do crossfit
